It appears that Crysis 2 has now finally popped back onto Steam again.
Crytek : In episode two of Our Story, the team discusses the evolution of Crysis into Crysis 2 and 3 (and the pressures that came with it), how a local connection landed an incredible collaboration with legendary composer Hans Zimmer, and the New York trip that inspired much of Crysis 2. For the gladiators among you, you’ll also get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the development of Ryse: Son of Rome and the attention to detail that went into it.

According to Valve: “The launch of Steam Deck will be delayed by two months. We’re sorry about this—we did our best to work around the global supply chain issues, but due to material shortages, components aren’t reaching our manufacturing facilities in time for us to meet our initial launch dates. Based on our updated build estimates, Steam Deck will start shipping to customers February 2022.”
Totally understandable given the current climate, but also a big blow for hype for sure. I would not be surprised if there was a further delay down the road, given how unpredictable assembly lines are at the moment.
That's a bummer, but only 2 months, and understandable given how unpredictable HW is right now.
Disappointing but not really surprised. I'll still be waiting and keep my pre order

75 hours in and here's our review of Cyberpunk 2077 from a gamers perspective [Steam PC - No Spoilers]
Satisfy your RPG cravings in the beautiful world of Cyberpunk. Bugs and performance issues aside, the core gameplay is brilliant.
a new update is up for Cyberpunk 2077 1.06 is out!, for some reason is pretty exciting to get updates for this game lol :D
...oh yeah about this review.....hmmmm .... well it says review in the article title alright, sorry I only wanted to post the news about the new update lol.
Crysis 2 is garbage and it could have never returned to Steam for all i care...
And they want $40 for it...fuck off!
If it hits a holiday sale for under $5 ill give it a shot. But only because it's on steam
Hmmmm not that I'm knocking this. But I can't help but wonder what changed EA's greedy mind about now putting it on steam.
The embarassing thing is, the original game had a re-released 'Maximum Edition' which also came included with the great, if not better, expansion pack - Crysis Warhead.
Crysis 2's 'Maximum Edition' is nothing more than shitty multiplayer DLC that no one cares about because quite frankly, who gives a shiny shit about Crysis 2 online anymore? Much less the PC version.
Save your money and replay Crysis/Warhead. I don't care what people say, sure the graphics are excellent and it looks pretty - but ya know what, at it's core it's also a damn fine game that is not a benchmark for gaming technology, but also sets an example on how to make a refined, polished and intricate game. Much better than the mediocre, scripted, average sequel. Fancy that!
The fact that Crysis 3 already has pre-order bonus incentives surrounding multiplayer doesn't exactly bode well for the future of this game, but like with F.E.3.R, the sheep will remain faithful, buy the game, then rant about how disappointing it was.
