Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 has been used to create some of the best games of the generation – Gears of War, Batman: Arkham City, and many more. As the next-generation nears, Epic is busy tuning Unreal Engine 4 and today it was revealed that Unreal Engine 4 will be shown to the masses at E3 2012. Additional details on the Unreal Engine 4 demonstration were shared this evening and it sounds like something gamers should look forward to come next week.
Tim Burton’s vision of Gotham brought to life by passionate fans.
They should have been made a batman game for the best batman movie. This looks amazing and now I must watch the movie.

YouTube's 'ackehallgren' has recreated the Rimmer's Rest from Star Wars Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight in Unreal Engine 4.

NVIDIA and Epic Games have released an official Unreal Engine 4 RTX Tech Demo.
Really impressive tech but I don’t even notice all of these benefits in real life, never mind being chased by zombies in a video game. Rather devote resources to resolution and frame rate.
Yes after seeing the Unreal 5 ps5 reveal, I thought that's where we were heading. But saying that I have read various articles that suggest its easy for developers to still work on Unreal 4 and carry everything over to Unreal 5 when needed, we shall see.
"As for Nintendo’s Wii U, many have wondered whether the new machine will be capable of running Unreal Engine 4 and it seems that question has been answered this evening. When asked if the Wii U would be able to handle Unreal Engine 4, Keighley replied that during GDC Epic’s Mike Capps said “Wii U will be Unreal Engine 3”."
The Wii U not running UE4 wouldn't affect me much seeing as I have a gaming PC (meaning I'll have UE4 access of course), but this will definitely hurt Nintendo in the long-run from a business standpoint if true.
BUT, at the same time, developers are under NDA, so it doesn't seem right how the president would come out an confirm something like this, weird.
If false, good for Nintendo. If not, to my gaming PC I go. That's the beauty of owning multiple platforms lol.
great news ...
but after seeing the images of UN4 i wasn't that impressive..
not like when I first saw the samaritan demo before ...
So is this what Geoff was talking about? I hope note -_-
UE4 not running WiiU.....sad....very..sad....
Was to be expected.. Plus hasnt it been said before that the WiiU has more or less current gen hardware specs??? I'm sure it has been hinted by Nintendo themselves that it is twice as powerful as the 360/PS3.
