With E3 2012 being a little under a month away a few of the writers of HeyUGuys Gaming wanted to toss out some predictions for what we think could conceivably be unveiled at the mecca of all gaming shows. Some predictions will fall into the land of the plausible while some might traverse the outer rims of absurdity, but take this adventure with us through the universe of conjecture; some things may even come true.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

Xbox boss Asha Sharma has discussed how component shortages will impact the company's plans for Project Helix.
This kind of proves this is an after thought product, most products like this are in r&d 5 years before they start mass producing. So they typically have the cost of components and things worked out long before assembly starts.
This is an assumption still, but I wouldn’t be surprised if project helix is similar to Scalebound, perfect dark and sod3. They had an idea but no actual execution other than concept stage. Being impacted by the ram shortage likely would also put this device 3-4 years out.
I’m not even sure MS has that endurance with Xbox yet
Helix is going to be stupidly expensive
Instead of leaning into smarter upscaling techniques they're brute forcing hardware that will cost them dearly and it remains to be seen if it's genuinely going to provide a meaningful differential
I know in the oc.doace people like to brag about not using frame gen or dlss to get to high on a game but for the majority of players they happily use those technologies without a second thought
That's going to be ps6 vs Helix
It's called systematic inflationary. Yes we get it Microsoft, keep raising in the name ofall kinds of stuffs
Honestly if there was thing I learned from this generation is that new consoles arnt day one anymore.
I can wait 1-3 years.

FuRyu revealed on Friday its Exstetra fantasy role-playing game is getting an HD remaster that will launch this summer on Steam.
Monster Hunter Vita Please!!!!
Baby Ruth?!
Dark Souls dlc announced for PS3 (and 360 i guess)
I also wanna see what Cold Hard Cash is, i hope FF-Versus is there, but summin tells me if it is there Microsoft will show it "hey look what weve stolen"
E3 is always bollocks anyway, im not even wathcin it this year, it rarely goes how you want it to
The PS Vita will be the main focus for Sony this year with some good 6-8 major core title gameplays presentations like The Last of Us and God of War Ascension.
Microsoft main focus will hopefully be their next generation platform following by some gameplay presentations or/and tech demos aside from the usual next Call of Duty gameplay premiere.
And the Wii U is all Nintendo will be talking about this year and hopefully demonstrate some gameplays for first party titles.
I think Sony will drop the memory card prices first, but not the Vita console. Try the less drastic measure before you really cut into your bottom line, then save the price cut for the holidays. If Sony does that no one can complain about the price of the Vita anymore and it should sell like crazy with the line up about to be revealed. Wish I wasn't poor and my pS3 hadn't just died :(
