ivalice isn't interesting and the whole game of 12 felt like i was playing a political race for presidency! Square can we just finish Versus 13 and be done with this!

I have not played XII but I watched my brother play it a bit and it just seemed very un-appealing to me. The graphical style, the characters, the combat system, it all seemed so dull.

All I can really say is final fantasy tactics is still the best ff game. Ivalice is nice....ff 12 not do much.

A full ff tactics with current hardware and new story I'd get in line for. Not ff 12 garbage.

We have been waiting on something that is seemingly better... Final Fantasy Versus XIII and a FFXII sequel before that game, would be insulting to me.

Oh SE you never learn, i enjoyed FFXII but the characters were BORING, i hope at least they use the same battle system as FFXII, it would be awful if they come with a battle system like XIII or XIII-2.

A world map would be great, and an INTRESTING history too.

Tactics, tactics advance, tactics A2, reverent wings and vagrant stories(an amazing game btw) all take place in the ff 12 world.

Square announced before reverent wings that they had a project called the ivalice alliance which would contain many games in the world of ivalice so if this is true it will be under that banner since there has been so many games already.

Another possibility is that GRIN's Fortress has been picked up by eidos, there's a lot of mention of fortresses.

Welp this is already a buy. I've played every final fantasy and i have never been disappointed by the games. Can't wait for the future Final Fantasy's to.

Whats with these Japanese video game companies nowadays? I feel as if the only ones that know what they're doing are Nintendo and Konami.

It'll be a sequel as much as Dirge of Cerberus or Crisis Core were sequels (and they weren't); a sequel with the same type of gameplay would go by the name of FFXII-2, so my guess is that it'll be a game with a few returning playable characters and "new" battle system.

This is what's ruining the entire industry, the desire for ever increasing profits. Executives that run these companies are placed in endless pressure to keep increasing their profits or shareholders chew them out, and possibly remove them from the company.

What a terrible way to run a company, the industry, and the world overall.

Brave. I for one denounce how the shareholder-centered economy has completely destroyed the gaming industry, but being angry that you're not able to squeeze even more profit out of a creative industry is one way to go as well. Have fun with yet another failed corporate restructuring.
