
Rhythm games have become a saturated market, where telling the good from bad is a daily chore. Certain titles shine while others should have never hit the market. Seems the market will never go away but one company is trying to better the rhythm games. Zen Studios is taking the rhythm game and kicking up the genre in a literal sense. KickBeat is the new highly energetic take on rhythm games but with a kung fu twist.

SteamFirst: When it comes to music games, I can be overly forgiving. I am the first to admit that I spent more time than would be considered healthy playing the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises, long after their relevance has subsided. Of course, considering that they are both making a comeback this year, I may have been a hipster douche in claiming that I liked something after it was cool and before it was cool again.
