
Director Matt Firor has stated that despite long development cycles associated with developing MMOs, The Elder Scrolls Online has learned from its predecessors in how players will interact with its systems.
Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk is now live for all platforms (including PC/Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation), kicking off a new era for The Elder Scrolls Online. This inaugural Season is live from April 2 until July 8 and lays the foundation for all future Seasons by introducing new reward systems, the first wave of player-focused improvements, class and combat redesigns, new zones and challenges, and more.

Are we supposed to care ? There arent any major mainstream mmo that punishes you anymore .

And that kind of thinking usually lead to you being unimportant like everybody and killing generic stuff or being shipped off to instances

Sorry Reach on legendary flashback. Point is difficulty isn't something the industry should shy away from, at the very least there should be options for people who like a challenge.
