Alright i might as well tell you straight of the bat that there is no story mode or campaighn or whatever you want to call it. This game makes up for that with a constantly updated and carefully watched online play. When I said "Rushing In The New Era" I meant it. The game as i told you is only multiplayer local or online, but the main thing is the online. Meaning that we've reached the New Gaming Era when video games are primarly online.(Im not sure if that's good or bad) This is not an opinion. I have actually taken a serve asking latley released console owners about whitch part of the games for the X-Box 360 or PS3 (Wii discluded because of lack of online play) they prefere the online play of story mode. Incase, your just confused now, I asked whitch part of xbox 360 and PS3 they injoyed most. (Trust me, I know a lot of people)When I was done asking everyone the results showed that everyone enjoyed online the most.
local multiplayer-Let me say somthing before I go on. If you can't get online working don't buy the game. Anyway If you dont have online you will be forced to play local multiplayer which is not even a fraction of the pleasure you will get from playing online with thousands of strangers from all over the world. The Game modes, maps vehicles, weapons in Online and Local are ecxactly the same actually, but I'll get into that later. Other downfalls to the local it's hard to get bigger games (oviously) and somtimes you might not have anyone to play with.
online multiplayer-In online you will be blowing things up and shooting people down in several different maps. To help you along in your mission to kill all aponants and blow everything up the producers have kindly suplied the game with 2 types of planes, Warhawk + Nemesis, 2 types of tanks, (yes, i said tanks)and 2 types of jeeps. Thats only the vehicles, this game has everything mounted machine guns, missile turrets, flak turrets, knives, pistols, atomatic rifles, radar homing missiles, pointy sticks, sniper rifles, flame throwers, airstrike, and grenades. (not so much for the pointy stick part though) You can also pick up some... what's the word to put this best... goodies for the planes, and some health things and such. That is only the standard stuff though. The producers didn't just drop this once they finished it like they do in socom navy seals, and let everybody loose at it. There is constanly free updates with new weapons and cool stuff, and also there's packages you can buy that let you play in new courses with other people who have theese packages with Extra vehicles. Also to avoid cheating laggers,(type of glitching) hakers, and glitchers will have patches put up against them and possibly temperary suspensions for there unholy quest for nondestruction. Anyway, in your campaign against all that is not pumped full of lead or up in flames you will rank up if you do well allowing you to besides braging, unlock new paint jobs for your plane alowing you to cruise the sky in your pimped out ride. also sweet clothes and other bling are unlockable for your character. while we are on the topic of fashion you are also able to create your own symbol.
Of course, it does have a down side. When this game was designed the producers kind've took realism hit it over the head with a shovel tied it up and threw it in the closet. Then took it out 3 hours later tied it to a tree and hit it with there lucky blue crowbar (notice there a gaming company) and then told his mom he tripped. Hmmm... that guy just fell 35ft after he jumped off an exploding plane and didn't die. Plus it's old school so whitch always made me wonder why some guy sent a couple of people armed with pistols and a knives who arn't russian in the second world war of to a battle field whitch is imposible to leave because of the penalty of being shot if you try to get away (once again not Russian) and some invisible forcfield in a dome shape witch for some reason seems to be suppling it's own air or somthing that not to mention is convienintly scattered with guns and and amo whitch REAPPEAR. Yeah that's that seems realistic since when have physics applied and really who can't jump 7 feet in the air?

With every big game now belonging to a big intellectual property, there are those that have become redundant. Here are the series' we miss.
I miss Dark Cloud I mean damn, Dark Cloud 2 is one of the best Action RPG game ever made. The game have: Rich Worlds, different setting, tons of contents, vareity in gameplay like never before (and even after), best buliding mechanics, crafting system like no one did and finally impressive graphics.
Most underrated game ever. It deserved the popularity and sales of Zelda and Final Fantasy. ut unfortunately, Level-5 and Sony didn't advertise it at all.
My franchises I wish would make a come back, are Battlefront by pandemic studios - galactic conquest was the best, mercenaries 1 and 2, and prototype 1 and 2...great games!

TSA writes: "For many PS3 owners and members of the TSA community, Warhawk was our first foray into the mesmerising world of online multiplayer. Now, after more than a decade of dogfights, the skies over Eucadia are clear, the game’s two warring factions having called an eternal ceasefire. To put it in less poetic terms, Sony finally pulled the plug on January 31st with the online servers no longer accessible."
I hope we do get a next-gen Warhawk, that would be awesome. Warhawk was so underrated for it's time.
I really enjoyed warhawk on ps3. Hope it isn't dead because of Starhawks average reception.
after a very long hard days work i would come home and drink a few coors light 24 ounces while playing this game on my vita through PSnow, for hours and hours. it made me happy. it is one of those experiences i will never forget.

Back in September 2018 Sony broke the news that online servers for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Sounds & Shapes, Warhawk, and Twisted Metal would be going offline on October 25th. Sony has now given them an extended lease on life.
A Warhawk remaster or remake would be nice, but we know Sony isn't going to bother.
Please, for the love of all things gaming, make a Warhawk remaster. I logged on for Warhawk day last year, and promptly got destroyed by ground and air. Some hardcore players still playing today. Warhawk is my favorite MP game ever made, hands down!
hmm that's odd i didnt know i could write comments about my own reveiws
I do love warhawk, very fun. Nice review.
Thanks to all who read this and approved I hope to produce more high quality reviews like this, which took about a day to be approved.
that you gave it a 6.5 for graphics, the game is supposed to look like that, its like Mario it supposed to look like it is. you cant really give Mario realistic graphics otherwise it would look stupid. The new Mario got 9/10s for graphics
i agree with the rest though, i would probably give it a 9/10 overall considering its only 20Gbp on release
i know what you mean about the mario thing and everything i just wanted to give my score on the graphics by a normal scale so readers could get the best idea of what it's like, your comment really adds to the reveiw though
