User Review : Valkyria Chronicles

Are you in doubt whether to purchase a PS3 or not? Well be in doubt no further. Here comes Valkyria.

If you are an RPG fan, you need not wait any longer. Valkyria Chronicles is here and its a PS3 exclusive.

Where to start. The game is smooth, polished, looks awesome, the cutscenes are manga like, the characters are enjoyable, the story is deep, there is great replay value, in short everything you want and expect from an RPG blockbuster, Valkyria Chronicles has got it.

Make no mistake about it. If with all these blockbusters, you are still in doubt whether you should get the PS3 or not, then this game alone warrants a PS3 purchase. I kid you not. I kid you not.

This game is a perfect 10 even by the highest standards. Forget Fallout 3. Forget Fable 2. This is how a real RPG is done. As an extra, unlike Fallout or Fable, this game is actually DONE and polished. Fable 2 and Fallout are clearly rushed out the door because they are buggie and glitchie and the gameplay are a joke. After playing through those games, I wasnt even aware of it. It wasnt until I popped in Valkyria that I suddenly noticed what a world of difference there is.

The game runs smooth, is not buggie, plays well, I have yet to encounter a glitch and is very polished. Add the well designed characters, marvelous story and this game is high class indeed.

With so many blockbusters its easy to overlook this game but that would be a big big mistake on your part. If this is not the sleeperhit of the year, then what is. I ask what is. Yes, I played Dead Space too. While Dead Space is a great game, its not on Valkyria's level in my honest, truthful opinion.

This IS truly a great game and deserves a true PERFECT 10 unlike many other games out there.

Its a shame though how this game will probably be overlooked by many people. A shame indeed. For the only one to miss out on this awesome experience, will be you.
