Terraria is a PC game only available on Steam. For 10 dollars, I say a 10 dollars well spent! Because Terraria, which was based off Minecraft, is an action-packed, adventurous RPG! In this game, you'll always have something to do, whether it be exploring the Dungeon, or the Underground Jungle. I really enjoy this game a lot, and I cannot put it down at all!
Right off when you start the game, you have to make a character, and give him/her a name. Then you have to make a world, whatever size you want, and name it. When you start your adventure, you will be found with a person, otherwise known as the Guide; gives you helpful hints, and have a copper pickaxe and an axe. When you begin collecting wood, enemies will attack you, and attempt to kill you. As you build your shelter, the sun moves across the sky, and will end in the west.
When night falls, you will be set upon by evil monsters, attempting to kill you. This game, while it does include the building aspect, has an adventurous feel to it, and includes bosses, mining, different biomes etc.
Multiplayer, is a mode available on the main menu, and is loads of fun. You get to build, mine, and explore with your friends! Fight bosses and enemies... Mine minerals to improve your tools and armor... And build fantastic structures all over the map!
And for only 10 dollars, the game is epic! Once you play Terraria, you just can't seem to put it down! There's always something to do. You will seriously not go wrong buying this game, I know I didn't!
505 Games has announced update 1.4.5 for Terraria is now available; features crossover content from Palworld and Dead Cells.

Re-Logic: "August was quite an eventful month for Team Terraria. We are well into the final push for Terraria 1.4.5 (for real, more on that below), and tickets are flying through the system. Several members of the team were also able to get together in person this month for the first time in many years - and for the first time ever with some folks. We have also been able to take care of a lot of planning for "what comes next" that will hopefully make for more consistency down the line. More on that in the future. With that said, we are all back home and ready to push this over the line."

It's such a great game, so I definitely recommend it. It's incredibly addicting, and I need to stop playing it on work nights. My wife has become addicted to it as well. I also wrote a review, and I wasn't even aware of it's existence until a week ago. I'm glad I took a chance and picked it up, as I was never really sold on Minecraft.
It's one of the few times when Neogaf hype was actually fairly spot on. At least for me.
