Well...one things for sure, after playing a lot of haze today it is clear to me that haze isnt your average FPS as some reviews claim it is. Im not here to go into deep detail about the story which in my opinion is excellent, but I am here to tell you why haze separates itself from all the other FPS out there.
First off you start out as a mantel trooper, they are the greatest soldiers of the future. They have the best guns, best equipment and nectar, yes nectar. Nectar is a drug that after injecting it into your blood stream, you become faster, stronger, more aware of things, you can see farther and in thermal vision. Making you an all around super solider. Their are side effects to nectar though, too much and you will freak out killing every one in your path, friend and foe. After taking nectar for a wile you become immune to it, so if your with out it for too long you experience a side effect known as nectar disruption, this makes you unable to see clear, aim your weapon, hear straight and most of all take nectar. It adds a twist to the story by experiencing this effective side effect from taking the drug.
The mantel troopers are at war with the rebels which are limited to technology, although they do have special ability's the mantel troopers do not. Wile going up against the supirior mantel trooper as a rebel, you have the ability to melee them and take their weapon. Which comes in handy when you run out of ammo. Another ability is to use nectar against them. Remember I mentioned the mantel troopers can overdose on nectar causing them to kill everyone in sight, well the rebels have stolen some nectar in the beginning of the game. And they have put the nectar on throwing knives, allowing them to stick a mantel trooper with the knife causing him to overdose. Which is pretty innovative if you ask me.
Another thing the inferior rebel can do is set traps by planting grenades in the ground, making it into a land mine for the mantel troopers to run into. Another way a rebel can use nectar against a mantel trooper is by taking some nectar off of a fallen mantel trooper and combining it with a nade, making a nectar bomb which also allows the mantel trooper to overdose when exposed to. One more ability for a rebel is to play dead, this comes in handy in multi player online mostly, I haven't tried it in the story mode but these ability's (rebel and mantel) can be used online in any game.
In the end it evens out for the most part, all these things separate this game from any other FPS, not to mention that the gun fights are intence and the story line is pretty solid if you ask me. All in all it was well worth my 60 bucks and if you want a good FPS thats different from your average FPS then HAZE is the game for you, thank you for reading and i am being completely honest about this review in my opinion. god bless.

Splatterhouse remake . Loved the og’s at the arcade growing up . Hell the best thing about the remake was the og,s were included . And left alive by Square . That game had so much potential , but the gameplay was worse horrendous .
once Great studios getting destroyed is actually common. happened with ND and Last of Us2, Bioware and Mass Effect Andromeda/Anthem, Bungle and Destiny .
I'm pretty much certain that any Sonic game that comes out will be terrible, I've not enjoyed one since the original side-scrolling days of the MegaDrive.
For this Topic it says Good Studios that make bad games. Sonic Team hasn't been good in years.

Nice review and I like the different abilities for the soldiers vs rebels. Don't forget the rebels can duck and roll ;)

Maybe our reviews should be from some people who have been here awhile, and have more gaming experience... Or stamp newbie next to the review.
No offense to you, but I can't take this Review serious. (I mean you didn't even space it out for it to be an easy read) and then in my opinion, it sounds like comments right from the developers commercial... LoL (I mean someone could even say you sound like a well placed plant from the company to write a good review for the game)
Another thing I find funny about your review- the one negative thing you could find still sounds like a plus... "the weapons are cool, but their are not enough, good variety though" that's the negative, that's all you could find wrong with the whole game... LoL (just makes your whole review really questionable)
I mean just looking at your profile, your clearly a newbie, nothing wrong with that, but I need someone with more experience with games on the PS3 to review this, someone who owns and plays COD4, or resistance or just has a good collection of PS3 games. I mean I played the demo and it was complete trash, one of the worst games I've played on the PS3 next to FEAR, bad graphics or pretty weak (if you want to be kind) Lame voice work, and really sad game play when compared to a real shooters like COD4.
(you didn't even mention the beta in your review and how the actual game compares to it)
For example it's the same thing that gets me upset with some of the GT5p reviews... they don't even play the game long enough to get to the fast cars like the Ferrari 599 or the Dodge Viper, and then they give the game a low score...
I'm just saying you really have to check these users profiles before you can take these reviews serious.
Sorry, not fooling me. Game is average at best.
