Valve's newest release of Garrys mod, Garrys Mod 10, includes amazing new stools and an extremely mod-able environment. You can build a completely functional car one second, and build traps for dumb NPCs another. The new wire kit, available at garrysmod.org (http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=31756) now allows you to build intricate electronic circuit boards.
You can find and load practically any object that you can imagine. You can use anything from a canon ball, to a window pane. There are also many tutorials available online, and three of them in the game. If you're bored at all during your day, you can start up Garrys Mod 10 and build yourself anything that you want. If you are really bored, like me, you can build an arena, make some NPC spawners, and watch antlion guards fight combine soldiers.
The online environment is also a very fun experience. You can get together with your friends and have contests to see who can build some contraption (that works) the fastest. There are also some very fun weapons that you can download. My favorite is the OMGRocket. You can catapult an unaware victim into the air, just to have them blown even higher by an invisible mine.
The physics are extremely realistic in this game. The graphics are above average if you have a higher-end graphics card. (The Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS works perfectly for me.) A few recommended stools if you buy it are: Laser stool, Advanced duplicator, and the prop-cannons stool. All of these are available at garrysmod.org. Hope you enjoy the game!

Hanzala from eXputer: "As Nintendo takes out 20 years' worth of stuff from Garry's Mod, I watch in shock, thinking why it continues to hurt and discourage its fans."
The irony that some of the most disgusting business practices come from companies like Disney or Nintendo, i can't even begin to understand what terrible damage was Garrys Mod making to Nintendo bottom line, imho they're getting pretty nervous about where they're heading in the future, handhelds are no longer something exclusive to Nintendo, from Steam Deck to many others, now you can play the latest games and pay a fraction of the price on Steam sales, so it's up to their exclusives, which just on their own would make hard to justify purchasing a closed overpriced hardware with outrageous price policies (Super Mario Odyssey is still 60 euro 6 years later!), and as a home console they're always underperforming compared to Sony or Xbox.
Look at how they handled Nintendo games being streamed or uploaded on YouTube in the past. They killed Yuzu and Citra even when they had nothing to do with ToTK being leaked, not to mention it was basically unplayable on emulation the week it was leaked. Smash Bros tournament, that was fairly recent. They shut down their online services without any care for purchases made. I bought a switch after skipping their last 2 consoles and handhelds but I don't plan on buying anything Nintendo in the future. They take things to the extremes, they legitimately hate their fans. They're honestly right up there with the likes of Acti, EA, and Ubi, only difference is that they disguise themselves as being family friendly all the while being shady.

Garry’s Mod, the Source engine creation game and pillar of the Half-Life modding scene, is considering banning servers that purport to celebrate Nazi ideology.
But what constitutes "Nazi ideology" in this day and age? Especially when anyone with an even remotely conservative opinion is called a Nazi.
"Banning symbols and stuff sounds like they’d just use another symbol, but in my opinion, these people are so fragile that one concession would be too much for them, and they’d find somewhere else.”
That's rich, calling these people fragile. When you're the ones going out of your way to cancel everyone and everything.

Although the game has no real objective, Garry's Mod is a sandbox title that includes some of the eeriest maps gaming has ever seen.
So many fond memories of this map and all the fun I had in GMod. I’ve been trying out S&Box (Google it if you haven’t heard of it), and it’s pretty awesome as a successor.
Hoping they get to a full release in 2023.
