Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, as you can tell from the name don't expect nothing but Ferraris but that's not a bad thing. The range of cars offered from Ferrari is far and wide and this game promises to include all of them, so from the classics from the '50s to the tire smoking beasts of today you are guaranteed a thrill that all car lovers seek.
The game starts off kind of slow in the sense that only one car, the Ferrari Challenge F430. You will have to enter it in Challenges and Trophy mode to unlock some of the beauties and also some more tarmac to tear up. As you progress and your garage starts to fill up and you sample each one of these beautifully crafted machines, you see that all have their own unique handling and sound.
If you are having a bit of trouble with success in unlocking cars there are plenty of aids for you to choose from from standard aids like switching between Manual and Automatic to the more technical Traction control and Stability management.
Graphically, the cars are stunning, tracks not so much, rain effects are best I've ever seen in a racer.
The AI, oh boy the AI, no longer will cars just stick to a line and allow you to pass them willy nilly, these guys here fight for position, sometimes kinda dirty but you'd grow accustom.
For personalization, there's a livery editor, use it to add your special touch to the cars you work so hard to obtain, a feature lacking from the prestigious GT5 Prologue. It's quite limited compared to games like Need For Speed but it gets the job done
All cars are not in the game as yet, but with monthly packs promised to include 5 cars and 1 track, should be long before you get bored.
On an ending note, TROPHIES, yup, it supports trophies oh and custom music, so get ready to tear up the track to your favourite tunes even though you'll be missing those lovely engine sounds

GamesRadar writes: "System 3 is rewarding existing owners of Ferrari Challenge on PS3 by reducing the cost of its sequel, Ferrari: The Race Experience for its release on PSN tomorrow. It's not a massive reduction in price, as fans get it for £9.99 instead of £11.99, but a lot of companies would do well to follow their example."
Sounds like a great idea, doesnt have to be a huge difference but anything is always appreciated. Only issue i see with this is that you can only really do this with DLC type games that are tied to an account.
lol i dont know whats happening with this game, first its release date was 29/09, then delayed by 1 week and today its still not released
