I was a huge fan of the Original Fable ! So i had alot of expectations for Fable 2.Truth be told..It really lived up to my personal hype for it.(Glitches aside)
I know it came out last year..kind of late for a review but i finally got around to beating it tonight ! So here's a basic breakdown of the Story,Graphics & Gameplay
---------------------------------------------------------------
Story:(I try to keep my descriptions spoil free)
You begin as an orphan child living in the streets of bowerstone with your older sister Rose. The "Quests" Begin almost instantly, you're tasked with earning 5 gold coins in order to buy a music box that a very mysterious women tell's you is magical and will fulfill any wish.
Moving on..Something terrible happens and the King of Albion Lord Lucien kills you.The mysterious woman along with a freindly canine you've been hanging out with nurse you to health and keep you safe for many, many years.Eventually tho, when you come of age.The woman (named theresa i think) gives you the quest that will set in motion the rest of the games story..
Skipping ahead a few hours of playtime..You'll find yourself in search of three other Hero's scattered throughout Albion. The story basically revolves around that. There's dozens of side quests to do as well.
There is also alot of important moments in the game where you have certain choices that affect the outcome of the the game later down the line.It adds good replay value.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Graphics:
It looks good. Not amazing. Not horrible. It just looks good.
It's mostly the lighting that looks very good. The tree's also sway in the breeze and look very detailed, gives a good sense of realism to the enviroment.Tho the character models look terrible !
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Gamplay:
Gameplay is fun, simple & very addictive..It just feels good cleaving through a group of hobbs with a Master Katana :P
You'll spend most of your time in combat, which of course,is a good thing! But when you get tired of that there's alot of side quest's,Job's (which are also addicting and rewarding) and real estate to purchase. You have great interactions with the A.I using the right bumper trigger every expression you can imagine from laugh, seduce, slap to fart. It's all their.Even some for your dog !
Another nice addition to Fable 2 was guns.Muskets, rifles and pistols mind you..but still..GUNS ! I never used mine much..more of a swordsmen myself, but from what i used of it there's alot to upgrade and enjoy.
You can use a variety of "Will" (magic) such as summoning, electricity, fire, slow time, flying swords,"force push" among others.Again, alot of upgrades and depth to it.
If you're tired of the story and fighting, why not find that special someone? Settle down..get married, have a child.Spend the rest of your days working hard to earn that money.Gotta keep your family happy! Untill the call of battle sends you out once more..
---------------------------------------------------------------
Bottom line:
Fable 2 is a fantastic game.If you don't rush through the story You'll get days worth of play time, hours of laughs.Moments of sadness..and a burning desire for revenge!
This is a game worth buying a 360 for.

The Xbox 360 was a fantastic console in its day with some truly classic titles, but what are the seven best games for the console?
I'll go with,
Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Culdcept Saga, Shadow Complex, Ace Combat 6 with the flight stick,A Kingdom for Keflings, A World of Keflings.
Bonus Kinect Games: Happy Action Theater and Sesame Street.
*Skyrim was so bad on PS3 that it almost deserves to be #1*
Was this made by a.i.? No human being would put Shadowrun, Fable III, and Splinter Cell: Conviction into a list of the 7 best Xbox 360 games.
Would love to play Ace Combat6 on PlayStation, but Xbox decided to buy exclusivity and keep it off a competing platform.
The only mainline game I never played except for one level at a friends place. Game sold less than any other in the series if I remember correctly.
When the current gen XBOX offering is so lacking people need to refer to games released two generations back....
I hope they put this on PC soon. Honestly I am a PS3 fan at heart but I am jealous of this game. Even though reviews on average weren't all that high I could really see myself getting into this game.
Good review bud.
I thought the co-op was positively broken.Fable 2 is an ok game
